Abu Hani SHAMMOUT

Abu Hani Shammout is a former Syrian military officer and leader of the “al-Ahdat al-Omariya” faction, responsible, alongside Russian recruiters, for the enrolment of Syrian mercenaries from Yalda, Babila and Beit Sahem, south of Damascus, destined to fight for the Russian forces in Libya and in Ukraine. He has been directly charged by the Wagner Group with overseeing the recruitment of veterans. He is therefore responsible for actions and policies which undermine or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, or stability or security in Ukraine.

Abu Hani SHAMMOUT est un ancien officier militaire syrien et chef de la faction "al-Ahdat al-Omariya", responsable, aux côtés de recruteurs russes, de l’enrôlement de mercenaires syriens de Yalda, Babila et Beit Sahem, au sud de Damas, destinés à combattre pour les forces russes en Libye et en Ukraine. Il a été directement chargé par le groupe Wagner de superviser le recrutement de vétérans. Il est donc responsable d’actions et de politiques compromettant ou menaçant l’intégrité territoriale, la souveraineté et l’indépendance de l’Ukraine, ou la stabilité ou la sécurité en Ukraine
