According to Equasis, the only vessel that carried the name "Chong Ryong San" was broken up in February 2003 (IMO: 7803839). Footnote 80 (p. 177) of the UN Panel of Experts September 2022 report reads: "CHONG RYONG SAN is not listed on the IMO website, and its precise DWT is not known. tonnage of 120 tankers of a similar size (70 – 72 meters) has been used to calculate its capacity." In Annex 27 (p. 244) of the UN Panel of Experts March 2023 report, the vessel name is misspelled as "Chon Ryong San".
