Rania Dabbas (a.k.a. Rania al-Dabbas) is Muhamed Hamsho’s wife. In 2013, news circulated that she held a masquerade ball titled The Sultan’s Harem after a famous Turkish television soap opera. The alleged cost of this party, held at the Yafour Villas Compound, was 18 million Syrian pounds, and it involved costumes designed in Paris for this event. Activists pointed out that invitations were sent to the families of Haffar, Dabbas, and Sheikh Ghazal known for their strong affiliation with the Syrian regime. US sanctions were imposed on Dabbas on 17 June 2020.
رانيا دباس أو رانيا الدباس أو رانية الدباس. زوجة محمد حمشو. انتشر خبر على نطاق واسع في ٢٠١٣ مفاده قيامها بتنظيم حفلة تنكرية أسمتها "حريم السلطان"، نسبة إلى المسلسل التركي . أقيم الحفل في مجمع يعفور بتكلفة وصلت إلى 18 مليون ليرة سورية شملت الأزياء المصممة في باريس لهذا الغرض. وقد أشار ناشطون إلى أن الدعوة وجهت إلى عائلات الحفار و الدباس و الشيخ غزال، المعروفة بصلاتها القوية مع النظام السوري، لافتين إلى أن ابنة وزير الخارجية وليد المعلم (شذى المعلم) كانت من بين الحضور، وتم نشر صور للحفل. فرضت عليه العقوبات الأمريكية في 17/06/2020.
