Le commandement de la cyberdéfense du Corps des gardiens de la révolution islamique (CDC) surveille les sites internet consultés par les personnes considérées comme des opposants politiques, ainsi que leurs courriels et leurs activités en ligne. Lors des manifestations qui ont eu lieu en septembre 2022 en Iran, le CDC a participé activement aux politiques répressives du gouvernement iranien, y compris en identifiant et en arrêtant des manifestants. Par conséquent, le CDC porte la responsabilité directe de graves violations des droits de l'homme en Iran.
