It is a subsidiary of JSC Garnizon, a company subsidiary to the Russian Ministry of Defence. Therefore, the 224th Flight Detachment is supporting materially the Government of the Russian Federation, which is responsible for the annexation of Crimea and the destabilisation of Ukraine.
