Vyacheslav Gladkov is the Governor of the Belgorod region and a Member of the State Council for the Russian Federation. In this role, he manages a regional state body of the Russian Federation and is responsible for implementing state policies at regional level. As Governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov has benefited from President Vladimir Putin’s amendments to Russian administrative law, which allow him the option of remaining in power for additional years.
