"From 5 – 8 May, the Paul Wurth Oil & Gas Division participated in this “Iran Oil Show 2016” in Tehran to introduce the new Paul Wurth market segment - specialised valve solutions for oil & gas downstream processes - to this region. Due to the long-lasting sanctions there is a huge demand also on new and serviced/repaired equipment like special process valves for this industrial sector. For Paul Wurth as a newcomer in this business field it was observable and consequentially helpful that SMS group is very well known and recognised in this country as a reliable business partner since many years. The major challenge in the near future will be the financing of projects in Iran, as the banking system is not yet up and running, and to find the correct partners for local supplies and service activities."
