DescriptionNorth Korean Embassy. A key figure in illegal coal shipments originating in the DPRK, Hamid Ali, had regular meetings with diplomats at the Embassy of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea in Jakarta. These diplomats introduced Ali to Jong Song Ho, the president of the Jinmyong Trading Group and Jinmyong Joint Bank of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, in December 2017 (see annex 19) as part of “the establishment of a Korean Cultural Centre in West Java.[sources]
