Addounia TV is a private television network that has been broadcasting from Damascus since 2007. Known for its stance against the Syrian uprising, it was co-founded and financed by a number of businessmen such as Muhammad Hamsho, Suleiman Maarouf, Ayman Jaber, and Imad Ghreiwati. The website Eqtsad reported that Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati has a large stake in the network. Addounia TV is sanctioned by the EU.
