أحد فروع شعبة الأمن السياسي. يراقبُ نشاطات الأحزاب التي يطلق عليها "الأحزاب الصديقة" وحتى حزب البعث والأحزاب المعارضة والمعادية حسب تسميات النظام لها، إضافة إلى رصد أي نشاط سياسي معارض والمجموعات التي يطلق عليها صفة إرهابية ومراقبة المساجد والكنائس وكافة النشاطات الدينية، ومنح التراخيص لأئمة وخطباء وخدم المساجد والدروس الدينية، ومنح تراخيص الجمعيات الخيرية والأهلية ومراقبة كافة الاجتماعات والمؤتمرات والاحتفالات التي تتم سواء أكانت لمصلحة النظام أو ضده.

The Parties and Associations Branch of the Political Security Directorate monitors the activities of the so-called friendly parties, even the Baath Party, along with the opposition and adverse parties, as designated by the regime. It spots any political activity of the opposition and the groups depicted as terrorist groups. It monitors mosques, churches and all religious activities. It also grants licences to imams, preachers, and mosque servants, along with licencing religious talks, charities and community associations. The Parties and Associations Branch surveils all meetings, conferences, and parties, whether pro- or anti-regime.
