Information Branch - Political Security

The Information Branch of the Political Security Directorate is a hub of all information and studies received from central and governorates branches. It has various departments; one is a department for students that focuses on universities, institutions, schools, nurseries and those responsible for these entities. It also has an espionage department. The Information Branch monitors the international and local audio, visual, and print media activities and deals with them directly and indirectly, considering the Directorate’s concerns.

أحد فروع شعبة الأمن السياسي. تصبُّ فيه كل المعلومات والدراسات الواردة من الفروع المركزية الأخرى وفروع المحافظات ويحوي عدداً من الأقسام المختلفة منها قسم للطلاب يختص بالجامعات والمعاهد والمدارس ورياض الأطفال والقائمين على هذه المؤسسات، وكذلك قسم التجسس. ويراقب الفرع أيضاً نشاط وسائل الإعلام المحلية والعالمية المسموعة والمقروءة والمرئية ويتعامل معها أيضاً بشكل مباشر أو غير مباشر بما يهم عمل الجهاز
