شركة الكوكب للنفط السورية الصينية

أعلن في ٢٠١١ أن شركة كوكب للنفط تنتج حوالي 14 ألف برميل يومياً وتخطط لزيادة إنتاجها إلى 16 ألف برميل يومياً خلال السنوات القادمة عن طريق القيام بمسوحات في مناطق جديدة.وقد أنشئت الشراكة سنة 2004 بهدف زيادة مردود النفط والغاز في منطقة كبيبة في محافظة الحسكة. وتقود الشركة مشروعا بيئيا في حقل كبيبة للتخلص من النفايات النفطية واعادة التربة إلى طبيعتها لتكون صالحة للزراعة حيث أثنت وزارة البيئة على الجهود التي قامت بها الشركة. مملوكة من مؤسسة النفط السورية بالشراكة مع الشركة الوطنية الصينية للنفط بحسب موقع "شبكة الصين" الحكومي ولكن ذكرت مصادر بأن الشريك الصيني هو سينوبك وهو الاسم الموجود في المسمى الرسمي للشركة Syrian-Sino Alkawkab Company
