While sanctions have traditionally targeted persons and companies, an increasing number of authorities has now started to name cryptocurrency wallets as targets on their lists. These authorities include the US OFAC, Israel's NBCTF, the Japanese MoF and Britain's HMT/OFSI list.
Using the OpenSanctions data model, you can easily screen individual wallet addresses, and also see details of the person or company which holds the wallet (if named on the source sanctions list).
OpenSanctions is free for non-commercial users. Businesses must acquire a data license to use the dataset.
