Iryna Pradun is a Belarusian judge and chairperson of the court of the Rogachev district of the Gomel region. She was appointed by Aliaksandr Lukashenka. She issued sentences against a large number of citizens of Belarus who voiced their opinions against the President. She also issued sentences against a number of individuals for their alleged participation in protests and for resisting the brutality of the Belarusian law enforcement authorities, e.g. in the case against Evgeny Kokhanovsky, who according to human rights defenders was coerced into pleading guilty to having taken part in protests. She is therefore responsible for the repression of civil society.

Iryna Pradun est une juge biélorusse et la présidente du tribunal du raïon de Rogachev, dans la région de Gomel. Elle a été nommée par Aliaksandr Loukachenka. Elle a prononcé des peines à l’encontre d’un grand nombre de citoyens biélorusses qui ont exprimé leur opinion contre le président. Elle a également prononcé des peines à l’encontre d’un certain nombre de personnes pour leur participation présumée à des manifestations et pour leur résistance à la brutalité des autorités répressives biélorusses, par exemple dans l’affaire contre Evgeny Kokhanovsky, qui, selon les défenseurs des droits de l’homme, a été contraint de plaider coupable d’avoir participé à des manifestations. Elle est donc responsable de la répression de la société civile.
