Oleg Terliakov is the deputy head of Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor). Roskomnadzor is a Russian state agency responsible for communications, information technology and mass media. It has implemented the state policy of censorship of independent media outlets. As the deputy head of Roskomnadzor, Oleg Terliakov oversees the departments of Telecommunication Permit Issuing and Telecommunication Control and Supervision and is responsible for decisions that have led to a limitation of the access to information to the Russian society and the closure of independent Russian media outlets. Those actions created censorship that promotes, aids and condones the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine. Therefore, Oleg Terliakov is responsible for supporting and implementing actions and policies which undermine and threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.
