Alexander Valentinovich ISHCHENKO

Alexander Ishchenko is the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Rostov Region and Secretary of the Rostov Regional Branch of the Kremlin-aligned ruling party “United Russia” (both since 2016). He is also a member of the General Council of the United Russia party. Alexander Ishchenko is very active in youth organizations such as the Youth Parliament of Rostov and the regional political-military youth organization “Youth Guard”. As Chairman of the Legislative Assembly, he is a public figure and often appears on local and national television and news and at public events. In public interviews and in posts on social media, Alexander Ishchenko supports President Putin’s decision to recognize the separatist so-called Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) and the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and promotes the propaganda messages of the regime. Given his political influence, Alexander Ishchenko is responsible for inciting hatred against Ukraine, spreading pro-Russian disinformation and propaganda in the context of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine as well as seeking to garner domestic support in Russia for that war. Therefore, he is responsible for supporting actions or policies which undermine the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.

Alexander Ishchenko est, depuis 2016, à la fois président de l'assemblée législative de la région de Rostov et secrétaire de la section régionale de Rostov du parti au pouvoir "Russie unie", qui suit la ligne du Kremlin. Il est également membre du Conseil général du parti "Russie unie". Alexander Ishchenko est très actif au sein des organisations de jeunesse, telles que le Parlement des jeunes de Rostov et la "Jeune Garde", une organisation régionale politico-militaire de jeunesse. En tant que président de l'assemblée législative, il est une personnalité publique et apparaît souvent dans l'actualité et à la télévision locales et nationales, ainsi que lors d'événements publics. À l'occasion d'entretiens et par des publications sur les médias sociaux, Alexander Ishchenko soutient la décision du président Poutine de reconnaître la soi-disant "République populaire séparatiste de Lougansk" (LPR) et la soi-disant "République populaire séparatiste de Donetsk" (DPR) et relaie les messages de propagande du régime. Compte tenu de l'influence politique qu'il exerce, Alexander Ishchenko est responsable d'inciter à la haine contre l'Ukraine, de diffuser de la désinformation et de la propagande pro-russes dans le contexte de la guerre d'agression menée par la Russie contre l'Ukraine ainsi que de rechercher un soutien interne en Russie à cette guerre. Il est donc responsable de soutenir des actions ou des politiques compromettant l'intégrité territoriale, la souveraineté et l'indépendance de l'Ukraine.
