Artyom Zdunov is the Head of the Republic of Mordovia (a Russian federal subject) since at least 18 November 2020. In this position, Artyom Zdunov has played a leadership role in implementing the Russian Government’s policy of illegally removing Ukrainian children from regions of Ukraine that are under temporary Russian control, in particular by organising the movement of children from occupied Ukrainian regions, in particular from the Kherson region and the Kalanchak Raion to the Republic of Mordovia. Artyom Zdunov also supports the activities of “Movement of the First” in occupied territories, an entity listed by the Union and involved in various programmes aimed at re-educating Ukrainian children, including those deported to Russia illegally Artyom Zdunov has also been personally supervising the support provided by the Republic of Mordova region to the occupying representatives and forces in the Kherson region, including through delivery of military equipment. Therefore, Artyom Zdunov is responsible for supporting and implementing actions and policies which undermine and threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine. He is also associated with “Movement of the First”.

Artyom Zdunov est le chef de la République de Mordovie (une entité fédérale russe) depuis le 18 novembre 2020 au moins. En cette qualité, Artyom Zdunov a joué un rôle de premier plan dans la mise en œuvre de la politique du gouvernement russe consistant à déplacer illégalement des enfants ukrainiens depuis les régions d’Ukraine sous contrôle temporaire de la Russie, notamment en organisant le mouvement d’enfants depuis les régions ukrainiennes occupées, en particulier depuis la région de Kherson et le raïon de Kalanchak vers la République de Mordovie. Artyom Zdunov soutient également les activités du “Mouvement des Premiers” dans les territoires occupés; il s’agit d’une entité inscrite sur la liste de l’Union et impliquée dans différents programmes visant à rééduquer les enfants ukrainiens, notamment ceux qui ont été déportés illégalement vers la Russie. Par ailleurs, Artyom Zdunov a personnellement supervisé le soutien apporté par la République de Mordovie aux représentants et aux forces d’occupation dans la région de Kherson, y compris par la livraison d’équipements militaires. Artyom Zdunov est donc responsable de soutenir et de mettre en œuvre des actions et des politiques qui compromettent et menacent l’intégrité territoriale, la souveraineté et l’indépendance de l’Ukraine. Il est aussi associé au “Mouvement des Premiers”.
