Function: General Director of Open Joint Stock Company State Airline 224th Flight Detachment

Vladimir Mikheychik has been the General Director of Open Joint Stock Company State Airline 224th Flight Detachment since 2018. It is a Russian state-owned enterprise, operating under the Russian Ministry of Defence for the purpose of providing commercial air cargo transport services, including of military cargo. It transports military technology and equipment, operating under the Ministry of Defence, and therefore supports in its actions Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. In taking on and acting in that capacity, he is supporting and implementing actions or policies which undermine and threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.

Vladimir Mikheychik est directeur général de l’entreprise Open Joint Stock Company State Airline 224th Flight Detachment depuis 2018. Il s’agit d’une entreprise publique russe opérant sous le contrôle du ministère russe de la défense dans le but de fournir des services commerciaux de transport aérien de fret, y compris de fret militaire. Elle transporte de la technologie et des équipements militaires, agissant sous le contrôle du ministère de la défense, et soutient donc par ses actions la guerre d’agression menée par la Russie contre l’Ukraine. En assumant cette fonction et en agissant en cette qualité, Vladimir Mikheychik soutient et met en œuvre des actions ou des politiques qui compromettent et menacent l’intégrité territoriale, la souveraineté et l’indépendance de l’Ukraine.

Transport sanctions: where transport sanctions apply, a ship owned, controlled, chartered or operated by a designated person is prohibited from entering a port in the UK, may be given a movement or a port entry direction, can be detained, and will be refused permission to register on the UK Ship Register or have its existing registration terminated.
