Furthermore, it benefitted from the Government of the Russian Federation, which is responsible for the annexation of Crimea and the destabilisation of Ukraine. TV-Novosti is a Russian-government-linked media organisation. It is funded from the federal budget of the Russian Federation. Through its subordinate media outlets, including RT, it has consistently spread pro-Kremlin propaganda and disinformation, and supported Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. Through its content, RT spreads false narratives of the Russian regime to undermine Ukraine and is thus supporting a large-scale disinformation campaign to erode international support for Ukraine.

TV-Novosti est un organe de presse lié au gouvernement russe. Il est financé par le budget fédéral de la Fédération de Russie. Par l’intermédiaire de ses médias affiliés, dont RT, il a constamment diffusé la propagande et la désinformation pro-Kremlin et a soutenu la guerre d’agression menée par la Russie contre l’Ukraine. À travers son contenu, RT diffuse les discours mensongers du régime russe afin de décrédibiliser l’Ukraine et soutient ainsi une campagne de désinformation à grande échelle visant à éroder le soutien international en faveur de l’Ukraine. Par conséquent, il a soutenu, matériellement ou financièrement, des actions qui compromettent ou menacent l’intégrité territoriale, la souveraineté et l’indépendance de l’Ukraine. En outre, il a tiré avantage du gouvernement de la Fédération de Russie, qui est responsable de l’annexion de la Crimée et de la déstabilisation de l’Ukraine.
