Aleksei Pimanov is a propagandist and the Head of the Krasnaya Zvezda media holding, owned by the Russian Defence Ministry. The Minister of Defence, Sergey Shoygu, personally requested Pimanov to become the Head of the Krasnaya Zvezda. The media holding was established by decree of the Russian Minister of Defence and controls the federal TV channel Zvezda. Similar to all other Kremlin-controlled media channels, Zvezda regularly spreads disinformation regarding Russia’s ongoing unprovoked military aggression against Ukraine, undermines Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, and provides crucial media support to Russia’s violent aggression. As a member of the media council of the Russian Geographical Society, Pimanov has close contacts with senior Kremlin officials such as Alexey Gromov, Dmitry Peskov and Sergey Shoygu. In 2017, Pimanov directed and produced the propaganda film “Crimea”, which justifies and glorifies the illegal annexation of the Crimean Peninsula by the Russian Federation. He is therefore responsible for supporting actions and policies which undermine the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.

Aleksei Pimanov, propagandiste, est à la tête du groupe médiatique Krasnaya Zvezda détenu par le ministère russe de la défense. Le ministre de la défense, Sergey Shoygu, a personnellement demandé à Pimanov de prendre la tête du groupe Krasnaya Zvezda. Le groupe médiatique, créé par décret du ministre russe de la défense, contrôle la chaîne de télévision fédérale Zvezda. À l’instar de tous les autres médias contrôlés par le Kremlin, Zvezda diffuse régulièrement des éléments de désinformation sur l’agression militaire non provoquée actuelle contre l’Ukraine par la Russie, compromet l’intégrité territoriale et la souveraineté de l’Ukraine et apporte un soutien médiatique crucial à l’agression violente menée par la Russie. En tant que membre du conseil des médias de la société géographique russe, Pimanov entretient des contacts étroits avec de hauts responsables du Kremlin comme Alexey Gromov, Dmitry Peskov et Sergey Shoygu. En 2017, Pimanov a assuré la réalisation et la production du film de propagande "Crimée", qui justifie et glorifie l’annexion illégale de la péninsule de Crimée par la Fédération de Russie. Il est donc responsable du soutien apporté aux actions ou politiques qui compromettent ou menacent l’intégrité territoriale, la souveraineté et l’indépendance de l’Ukraine.
